Christin Thorpe is a devoted mother, community-focused faith leader, and experienced consultant at the nexus of faith, community, and financial stewardship. With a career spanning nearly a decade, Christin has dedicated her talents to advancing the Kingdom of God through her work. Her journey in the nonprofit sector began as an AmeriCorps member, and since then, she has spearheaded generosity and community engagement initiatives for various organizations, including the United Way, congregations, seminaries, church denominations, and a Fortune 300 financial services company. In each role, Christin has collaborated with organizations and individuals to optimize resources for the effective fulfillment of their missions.
A proud alumna of Hampton University, Christin holds a B.A. in Community and Social Services. She furthered her education at the University of Pittsburgh, earning a Master in Social Work degree with a specialization in Community Organizing and Social Administration. Currently, Christin is a Harold Hudson Scholar at United Theological Seminary, pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree with a focus on Building Bridges for Church and Community Wholeness.
Passionate about leveraging her skillset to support organizational culture and operations, Christin is dedicated to enhancing individuals' spiritual formation and the edification of the Lord's church. In addition to her consulting work, Christin serves as the President of the Witness Foundation, a national nonprofit dedicated to identifying, training, and funding the next generation of Christian leaders. As an Associate Generosity Strategist with Generis, she provides invaluable support to churches in enhancing generosity and developing strategic approaches to resource management. With over a decade of experience working with churches, Christin is deeply committed to equipping communities and individuals for transformative impact and holistic growth.
